HBAN business angels invest median of £167K each in start-ups
 

HBAN (Halo Business Angel Network), has released its latest survey results which finds that HBAN business angels have invested a median of £167K each in start-ups on the island of Ireland.

 

Industries attracting investment in the past year include ICT, FinTech,MedTech and Life Sciences. In 2022, angels will continue their interest in these sectors, while also considering sectors such as engineering, manufacturing and electronics (40%); food, beverages and agriculture (31%); and business services (29%)

 

HBAN is an all-island organisation responsible for the promotion of business angel investment, and is a joint initiative of InterTradeIreland, Enterprise Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland.
