Digi Manufacturing 2.0 programme at TUS is officially launched
 

The Digi Manufacturing 2.0 programme developed by IDEAM (Irish Digital Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing) and Manufacturing NI has been officially launched at Technological University of the Shannon.

 

The overarching aim of the initiative is to create and enhance new cross-border strategic value chains and enhance the green uptake between both Manufacturing NI and IDEAM Cluster manufacturing SMEs.

 

The project is being delivered with support from InterTradeIreland’s Synergy initiative. Synergy is a cross-border cluster initiative which aims to scale cross-border collaboration among SMEs and other players such as universities, third-sector organisations and government agencies using cluster and networking supports with a particular focus on meeting 2050 Net Zero and Global Green Deal targets.

EU Project ACCELERATE GDT official launch
 

InterTradeIreland are delighted to represent all-island cluster views by participating on the Stakeholder Committee of EU project, ACCELERATE GDT.

 

The purpose of the project, which was officially launched in April, is to reinvent national and regional cluster policies to support the twin green and digital transitions and SMEs competitiveness.

 

The four-year, two phase €1.51 Million project draws partners from European ministries, national policy makers, regional development organisations and universities, and are participating to share learn and experiences which will make cluster policies in partner regions more impactful in supporting industry on their twin transition journeys.

Cross-Border Business Ties in Focus at Innovation Island Connect in Dublin and Belfast
 

Join InterTradeIreland at Innovation Island Connect, the perfect opportunity for tech companies, services firms, investors and business leaders to connect. The events' focus is on enhancing cross-border business-to-business relations between the tech sectors in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

 

Taking place on 1st June in Dublin and 7th June in Belfast, these events are being delivered by TechIreland and Startacus with the support of InterTradeIreland's Synergy programme.

 

The events are being held due to the success of last year's Dublin event, which had overwhelming participation from businesses both sides of the border. A survey of participants revealed that more than 650 ‘solid connections’ developed as a result of the event.

eTenders has changed - secure your place for online training
 

On 15th May, the Office of Government Procurement in Ireland launched the new eTenders platform providing businesses in Ireland and Northern Ireland with access to procurement opportunities within the public sector in Ireland.

 

Businesses can now log on and access the new eTenders platform with new competitions will be published on the platform from 22nd May.
