Taoiseach commends InterTradeIreland’s performance

We were delighted to welcome Taoiseach, Micheál Martin TD to the InterTradeIreland offices in Newry, Co. Down. The visit coincided with the announcement that InterTradeIreland’s programmes have generated £100/€115 million in business development value for SMEs this year and to date, 3,500 firms have been supported to generate cross-border exports, secure investment and accelerate innovation.

Commending the data, the Taoiseach said, “Since its inception, InterTradeIreland has been focused on building mutual economic benefit for both sides of the border. It’s an organisation that learned early on that collaboration can maximise opportunity. InterTradeIreland is playing a key role in helping to drive innovation across the island.”
