How InterTradeIreland helped Co Louth business break into the Northern Ireland Market

How did this come about?

InterTradeIreland supported Dundalk based Vennetics through its sales and marketing programme Acumen to help them improve their knowledge of the NI market place and open up new opportunities and customers for them.

More about Banterflix

Banterflix is already a popular movie review show and its founder and chief presenter Jim McClean said; “we wanted to add a new level of movie interaction to our website, now our viewers can watch our latest movie reviews online and have direct access to other movies from the same actor or director.”

Viewers can search by movie title, actor, director, genre and price. For example a search for actor Al Pacino will provide the movies that he has starred in and where his movies can be viewed and a useful price comparison.

“The team at Vennetics is delighted to be working with Jim and the team at Banterflix,” said Kieran Dalton, Chairman of Vennetics. “This partnership reflects our desire to collaborate with companies that share our vision, and underscores our commitment of delivering relevant and exciting video based solutions.”  Dalton went on to say; “We’re very grateful to InterTradeIreland for their assistance with this project. InterTradeIreland supported Vennetics through its sales and marketing programme with funding which helped us to improve our knowledge of the Northern Ireland market and ultimately identify new business opportunities.”

Welcoming the announcement InterTradeIreland’s CEO, Thomas Hunter McGowan said; “InterTradeIreland has enjoyed working with Vennetics over the last few years and indeed they are one of our Business Ambassadors. An exemplar in their field, we are proud to be associated with this exciting phase in their development and wish them every success. The promotion and development of cross-border business is our key priority and with cross- border trade a steadily growing area, there is great potential out there for other likeminded SMEs.
