This afternoon, it will gradually turn cloudier and the risk of showers will increase. The showers will be heavy and thundery, particularly in western areas; a little drier further east.
Tonight
This evening will be partly cloudy with a few lingering showers. During the overnight period, it will become mostly cloudy again, but it should remain generally dry.
Monday
Tomorrow morning will see more in the way of cloud, with just occasional sunny spells. Early in the afternoon, a band of rain will spread in from the south and persist for the rest of the day.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
Tuesday will remain cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain for much of the day, as these will start to clear in the evening. Wednesday looks set to be largely dry with extensive sunshine but the odd afternoon shower cannot be ruled out. On Thursday, more unsettled conditions are forecast, with an increasing risk of showers, these potentially heavy and thundery in the afternoon.
