Q1 2016 Results
Q1 2016 Results
Our latest findings for Q1 2016 highlights an overall continuing solid picture of recovery with 88% of businesses on the island reporting growth; however the disparity between domestic market traders and those engaging in export is increasing.   

The benefits of exporting are clearly seen in the survey, with 52% of those trading in the cross-border market reporting growth this quarter, compared to 34% of companies which are solely active in their domestic market.

They have assembled a panel of people, with significant business experience, who are volunteering their time to give practical advice to small businesses. 


Over the past four years, they have heard and dealt with all the problems and challenges SME owners encounter while they keep their business going. Recently with improvements in the economy, the problems are positive ones – how do I grow my business; how do I market or promote my business, can a business coach come and review my business and give me some practical advice to help me improve as an owner?

Dee’s Wholefoods Launches In 300 More UK Stores
 
County Cork based Dee’s Wholefoods, founded by veggie entrepreneur and Dragon’s Den graduate Deirdre Collins, has launched its 100% vegan sausages in 300 Holland and Barrett stores across the UK.

Dee’s Wholefoods, acknowledged as an InterTradeIreland Ambassador in 2014, saw an outstanding 82% growth year-on-year export sales in the 2013-2014 and the trend is continuing with more outlets and markets coming on stream in 2016.
