The Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in the UK has recently published the following document to provide further information and clarification in relation the Horizon 2020 underwrite guarantee published back in August 2016.  The new document takes the form of Frequently Asked Questions and it is intended to clarify the UK's position on continued participation in Horizon 2020, making specific reference to the legalities contained in the Horizon 2020 model grant . BEIS Horizon 2020 Underwrite & Disclaimer

EC introduces free 'Common Dissemination Booster' support service
 

The European Commission is delighted to announce a new, EU-funded dissemination service that can help your project make an impact on your market, your stakeholders and users. Regardless of whether your project is still ongoing and already closed, you get together with other projects to form a 'CDB project group'. The Booster then provides you with free, professional support for your dissemination activities (on top of the dedicated dissemination budget you have already received).

EC launches new Horizon 2020 Dashboard
 

The EC has recently launched the Horizon 2020 Dashboard on the Participant Portal. This novel view on Horizon 2020 implementation data provides powerful analytical functions, with new opportunities for programme reporting, impact analysis, preparing feedback to policy making and decision making on future priorities. All data can be viewed and analysed in aggregated form but also detailed views on individual calls, topics, countries, organisation types etc. are possible, down to the level of individual projects and beneficiaries (including links to the individual project pages on CORDIS).

NI Health & Connected Health Information Day
 

Organised by the Northern Ireland Contact Point Network, this event will launch for the final Horizon 2020 Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing work programme 2018 – 2020. This is the first time the European Commission has adopted a 3 year work programme and it is the largest funding opportunity in the programme to date.

InterTradeIreland is pleased to be a supporting partner of the European Alliance for Personalised Medicine Congress that is due to take place at Belfast Waterfront from the 27th to 30th November 2017. As part of the programme, InterTradeIreland would like to invite you to participate at an inaugural workshop to explore the opportunities and challenges of all-island cancer trial collaboration.The workshop will take place on Wednesday 29th November 2017 from 10am until 11.30am.  

 

There is no charge for attending the workshop.  However, delegates will have to pay a discounted conference attendance fee.  Please email anne.mcminn@intertradeireland.com to find out how to access the discount.
