Resubmission advisory service available to North/South Horizon 2020 applicants
 
InterTradeIreland's new North South Competitive Partnerships Programme for Horizon 2020 (CPP) is a free advisory service open to applicants who have already applied to H2020 on a North/South basis - unsuccessfully or successfully.

Delivered by Dr Conor O'Carroll of SciPol on behalf of InterTradeIreland, the CPP offers Horizon 2020 participants a post-submission analysis of their proposal and/or Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) with a view to identifying opportunities for new or resubmissions to future calls.

Recruitment of new experts for Horizon 2020 evaluations and reviews.
 

As you may be aware, the Commission is actively enforcing a policy which is aimed at having a higher rate of renewal of experts and a higher percentage of female experts in evaluations and reviews.

The new H2020 evaluation rules require a regular renewal of experts every year (at least 25%) and particularly encourages applications from female experts to ensure a better gender balance in the various evaluation panels (at least 40%).

Therefore, the Future Internet Unit in DG Connect are looking for competent professionals who could take on this task occasionally or more regularly.

Brokerage Event - Key Enabling Technologies - Horizon 2020 NMBP calls

The objectives of this brokerage event are to present the 2017 topics of the European Union’s Nanotechnologies and Advanced Materials, Biotechnologies, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing (NMBP) Work Programme 2016 – 2017 of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 and to prepare future co-operations between participants. The corresponding calls for proposals can be found on the Participant Portal of the EU Commission.

  • A concept which has been adopted as a cross-cutting issue at Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2014-2020;
  • Doing science and innovation with society and for society, including the involvement of society ‘very upstream' in the processes of research and innovation to align its outcomes with the values of society;
  • A wide umbrella that brings together different aspects of the relationship between science and innovation and society: public engagement, open access, gender equality, science education, ethics and governance.
