Dear Horizon 2020 applicant,
Do you know that you are eligible to avail of InterTradeIreland’s Competitive Partnerships for Horizon 2020 programme? This is a free advisory service for those who have applied either unsuccessfully or successfully to Horizon 2020 with a partner from the other jurisdiction*.
Delivered by Dr Conor O'Carroll of SciPol on behalf of InterTradeIreland, the programme offers Horizon 2020 applicants an analysis of their Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) and/or proposal with a view to taking stock of the strengths of the proposal, interpreting shortcomings and identifying opportunities for new or re-submissions to future calls. A written report will be prepared for those who participate on the programme.
Participants will benefit from:
- An expert analysis of the previous submission(s) achieved by examining the corresponding Evaluation Summary Report (ESR)
- Recommendation(s) on a new or re-submission to same area, and/or the Marie-Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) programme
This service is entirely confidential and there is no requirement to make a new or re-submission to Horizon 2020. The pilot phase which ended in December 2015 has already resulted in 2 initially unsuccessful applications, that there were no further plans to pursue, being resubmitted to Horizon 2020 and achieving success, one in the same thematic area and one to an entirely new area of the programme.
If you are interested in availing of the service, please email your contact details to email@example.com. The method of engagement can be tailored to suit i.e. meetings, email or skype etc.
Please note that Research Offices and the Support Networks in Ireland and Northern Ireland are aware of this programme.
*Applicants from Ireland must have had a Northern Ireland partner in their consortium. Applicants from Northern Ireland must have had a partner from Ireland in their consortium.
